I have a 4-door ix, but lately it hates me.

Speaking of which, another thing that sucks about 4-doors (while in the rust belt) is theres more places to rust.

      ;)

But it does not matter to me, I love the e30 body style: 2 door, 4 door or 5 door. I just like the 4 door look better to ME, so that is all that really matters. Not saying I would never own another coupe, because I will one day! Well it will start out as a 4 door but become a truck ;)

I prefer the coupe, I have both.

The sedan is ok, but I only have it because I have a small child to get in a car seat. That said, it's not really that hard to do in a coupe though....

Coupes just look better. I prefer two doors on almost all of the 3 series lime, with the exception of the E9x's. I prefer the E90 to the E92.

I saw a white E90 M3 at Watkins Glen speedway. Owned by a smoking hot woman... =)

The vestigal rear seat in an e30 "coupe" is not right, it's not cool and it just...isn't sexy. It isn't sexy like it should be.

Here's mine, the front end is now fixed and painted, pics coming soon.

Not a 4 Dr person either. I rarely have anyone in the backseat anyway. I do like the practicality though, so I got an e39. E30 4 door is pointless in my eyes. There's not enough room to justify adding 2 more doors and there's nothing sporty about it. Dunno about others but whenever I see a nicely modded 4 door, I can't help but think it's a shame it's a 4 door because it would look that much better if it were a coupe.

I'd like e30 coupes more if they didn't have the frame around the windows, like 'verts.

A two door hard top e30? Instead of a two door sedan. Wonder what that would look like?

I own both. I prefer the coupe because I always use the wrong window switch in the sedan. It fools me every time!

I believe BMW refers to both of them as sedans--two door or four door.

I have both and find them equally appealing style wise, and they each have their own distinct look. I don't let anyone sit in my is's pristine M3 rear seat, and since my wife and I have friends and like to occasionally take them along, a four door is essential for our lifestyle.

I just don't understand how all you four door haters wouldn't want a car like this...

i see it and think man if it didnt have those extra doors it would be truly awesome.

but i also have no friends or children so back seats/doors are a waste.
                                Much wow
                                I hate 4 doors
