ok?
I'm not sure how people expect others to sense sarcasm through a couple of words through a forum, especially when they don't know each other personally.
What I said still holds truth to the mindset of a lot of bmw owners.
Why do Hondas want to race?

I have a Honda, I guess I'm bipolar. I started with hondas and will always be a Honda enthusiast, the way I figure, if I can make 1k WHP on a 2.0L 4cyl it's cake on a 3.2L 6cyl. I don't consider myself a "ricer" though and I NEVER evoke a street race. I've actually had a few BMWs mainly e36 try to come after me on the street, but my car traps at 103 db so it's not exactly stealthy
My buddies at DOC Race whom sponsor my exhaust work and will be doing my S54 E30 twin scroll manifold started a blog on one of my rebuilds.... If anyone cares to look.
John Truong (HPF Service Manager) has blown the dust off of his EG Civic hatchback and put an engine in it to pass emissions. It is back at HPF getting transplanted once again this time to his 13.7…
Last week we got a few runners tacked up on John’s header while he was grindin away on the rest of his car in preperation for a first start and some tuning. We took what we tacked back to D.O…
Finished welding up John’s NA header and went to work on his exhaust system. We built a transition plate for the collector and slightly changed the V-band couple to the exhaust system for a b…
John’s civic came together and for the most part got it dialed in as far as tuning goes. We should have a dyno graph from him shortly i’ll make sure to post it up. 260whp and 166ft/lbs,…
I respect anything built right.Leave a comment:

Ignorant?
I liked the Chevy Sprint my wife had better than the Accord we replaced it with.
Once they replaced the Honda 600, it was all downhill.
I don't like front wheel drive - I've owned them, so ignorance isn't the issue.
But it was meant as a joke anyways... I figured the Hitler Smiley would give that away.Leave a comment:

When I was in high school (1975ish), a friend had a Honda 600.
He raced that at OCIR on Wednesday nights. I don't remember
what his 1/4 mile time was, but he had a lot of fun. He once blew
out some rubber vibration dampers (similar to a cush drive on a
motorcycle), but otherwise, that car held up to some serious abuse.
It was the first time we saw a front wheel burnout.
That was actually a pretty cool Honda car.
We took the term "Run what you brung" very literally.Leave a comment:

alright buddy calm down.haha so frickin true.
i had a civic come up next to me when i was driving my dads e46 m3. who in their right mind would do that. i kept the r3v's below 5500 and let him think he was keeping up, only to watch his hood billow with smoke shortly after.
Honda's should only be sold to people between ages 0-->NEVER!!!
A certain stigma comes with driving a honda and at the same time, there are undoubtedly some clean ones as well.
No need to be so hasty about it.
