    Didn't think of that. Guess I'll have to do a frenched in hidden cage under the interior body panels. Don't want to have any injuries from safety equipment. I am planning on rear headrests too.

      E30 crash was a full frontal the Beetle crash was a glancing blow which are brutal.

          Yes seen it before and I do agree new cars are safer...but I think they stretched it a bit to make it seem worse than it would have been.

          For one they picked the weakest spot on these old cars...very thin metal in that area really just a fender and nothing under it.

          Second you see a ton of rust blow off the Bel air...could have been a complete rust bucket they just painted.
