Honest inquiry, are you able to fit people in the back of your car?
Because I am leaning on coupe for that very reason.
If I cant fit people in the back then what is the point?
I am 6'1 might as well have a bigger door rather than squeezing my big ass into the front.
.
I know lots of you have managed to get in comfortably but there is a bit of a cramped effect for me.
It feels more spacious with bigger doors and it looks quite a bit better.
Where I live you need to look $500 to $600 more for a decent 2 door in comparison to a 4 door.

Sorry folks, I'm from the old school and there's nothing sporty about a 4 door E30 (except maybe iX). Cheapest E30's you could get were 4 door 318i/325 base models. Most expensive were M technic convertibles/convertibles/M3's/325iS and so on. Cars that still bring in more to this day. It would take a modified 4 door to bring in the same. Robrez' 318i is nice but he's done a shitload to the car including M tech kit. They are trimmed lower than most 2 door models as well. IMO, E30's are too small for a 4 door version anyway. If you need 4 doors get a 5 series, as that's what they are made for and are proper sedans. I just think as a buyer, if you are concerned about easier backseat access, most people will skip the old E30 and go for a larger sedan. People looking to get into E30's this late in the game are not looking for 4 doors. They are looking for 2 doors they can have more fun with less weight. As for rigidity, that's just not an issue for most people and the ones that do take issue remedy it with a rollcage."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
