So awhile ago I bought a really nice jack for myself from Sears.

I bought the jack with Ted and Ken back in Oregon, because Ted's jack shit out on us, and both thier cars were immobilized in my driveway.
I checked all my photos and found the ones from this day, Jan 30th 2005.
Jack came with a 1 yr warranty.
The jack recently shit out. Will jack fine without a load on it, but will not raise a car. I checked the fluid level, and topped it up with jack oil.
I called up the local Sears (thankfully) before taking it in to inquire if they had one in stock to exchange. They said they had 10. Cool.
I asked about the warranty to make sure, they said 1yr. So I was about to hang up and the woman said make sure you bring your receipt.
I explained I don't have one, and I've never needed a receipt to exhange a faulty/broken Craftsman item in the past. Generally you just slap in on the counter and they ring you out on the new one.
She tells me to call the store I bought it from, and have them fax the computerized invoice to this store and that would be fine.
I call the store I bought it at in Albany OR. They claim they have no such system and no way of pulling up a record of this nature.
I call back the local Sears and explain this. They pretty much tell me tough shit toodle loo.
I want a new jack dammit, infact I NEED a working jack.
What should I do?
