    Modified cars can't be historic? Goddamnit!

    You could visit New Jersey over a thousand times and still miss out on amazing places to see and thrilling things to do.


    looking into getting historic plates for my 87 and according to the application the car must be up to original manufactures specs. wtf?!

    thats bullshit because every muscle car I've ever seen has been modified in some way shape or form i just say fuck it and apply any ways

      right? it says it can only be used as a exhibition piece or for education. But I educate fools durring my daily exhibition on the proper ways of rolling like a boss.:D

        Here in Maryland it can't be extensively modified. However in my experience, no one cares.

          In WI, I have to take pictures of the whole car, sides, front, rear, and engine to submit along with the application. If it is not original then forget about the classic plate.

            PA is the same way. But my Corvair has antique tags :P

                      Here in Germany it has to be modifications from within 10 years of the car being new (tuning that is also oldschool). They are VERY strict about it over here too!

                        I don't think they care that much. My dad's classic is modified (but not obviously) and I don't think they said anything. I've also seen obviously modified classics with historic tags.

                            this. Its currently stock so I feel like I could just mod it after I get the tags. plus I only really plan on doing wheels and suspension stuff to this one so it wont come off as that modified.

                              people abuse the historic plate tags here.. i see some total pieces of shit with H tags from Maryland/PA.
