2,500 miles of open road. Great way to start off spring!

hey, guys. So this is my first post here on R3v and I got recommended to post about my road trip. I own a 87 bmw 325is that is my baby. And this will be our first road trip cross country. Quick history on the car, car was sitting for about 10-12 years. Bought it from an older gentleman and drove it 7 hours straight back to nc without a problem. Since then I've done numerous work and replacement of important parts. That being said, I depart Nc today to head back home to Az. 2,270 miles to be exact. I've done all required checks and I'm pretty confident on her making the trip without a problem. But it is a 27 year old car. So I'll expect the unexpected. My route will consist of taking I-40W and will be passing by the states of SC,Georgia,Alabama,Mississippi,Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas,New Mexico, and finally Arizona. I'll post as much as I can along the way when I do my rest stops and of course, take lots of pictures! Wish us luck :coolphoto::D

Neat, take some pictures and tell the story if you end up doing it! And you are close enough after you get to AZ to stop by 2015 Drive 4 Corners in August

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

See you in GA. I just took mine from GA-Fla., not as far but I chose it over my 2006 honda which fails often.
