Here's how you make them clam up:

Tell them that their car is a PT Cruiser GT that doesn't look completely hideous. They share the exact same 2.4 turbo four.

Have you guys seen this commercial?

(BTW I find the YouTube thingy in the message editor doesn't work - how can you imbed the videos properly? It never seems to work).

I totally believe the gay man/Miata stereotype. Not sure about the Subbys though LOL

Saw this before seeing Avengers: Age of Ultron, and all I was thinking at the end was that the guy going back to the Miata was an indication of his closeted homosexuality and that he was happy he was finally out of the closet. (notice that the wife is NOT next to him LOL)

Coming from the SRT-4 community, you're 95% correct. There are a select few who are genuinely car guys and love any car, regardless of make... then you have the 95% that are complete asshats. I hated being associated with that group and I had quite a bit of people pass judgement until we actually spoke to one another and they realized I hated SRT-4 guys more than they did.

They are members of the Small Penis Club. 'Nuff Said.

Same for the guys who also do the oversize wheels and have the balls hanging off the trailer hitch of their truck. Of course, a combination of all of these is an obvious sign of over-compensation.

There's a neighbor of mine, drives a mid-00's mercedes wagon that she bought new. now idk if she attended or not, but she has a Yale window sticker. Every time I see the car, it looks worse and worse. more scratches and dings, and dirtiness. it won't be long until it's gone.

I know this is bad of me, because I know some people on here are in this situation/live in the city, but I consider anyone without a garage/ a garage so packed with shit that the car stays outside, to not give a damn about their car, and are slobs. I mean if you really have to go bare knuckles, get one of those tarpy car tents from HF to at least protect you car from the elements.

I will say... I have a single car garage (1950's house) that's full and the e30 and other cars stay outside... Because my trailer with my two stand up jet skis takes up too much space. Considering one is practically brand new they will never go outside.

That being said I'm planning on knocking out the wooden back wall to allow me to use all of the garage and make room for the trailer and the e30 :p

              Few stereotypes I've been noticing.......

80's muscle cars.....I.E. camaro's and mustangs etc.....those were cool when I was in high school (12 years ago), now it's like they're coming around for sloppy seconds.....but shittier. Bunch of high school kids in my area driving around in rust dilapidated missing exhaust tetanus inducing piles of crap. It's like like hipster meets 80's hairband...

We also have this static ultralow cult growing in my area, to each his own, some people might "do it right", and it'll looks decent. But these kids are literally scraping through their miata floor boards.....and think its cool? The fuk?

Douchebag BMW owners. They're typically your e46 and newer crowd, making such claims as:
              • "you drive an e30 because you're to poor to afford my loan payment on my base model e82".....(Somewhat paraphrased...)

              Or my favorite:
              • "dude, your turbo m30 will never touch my jb4 brah, I mix in e85"......

They also congregate in the same location, bi-weekly..... to take pictures of the FBO "racecars" in the same spot, followed by polluting the already congested IG feed I'm trying to enjoy.

around here, they call it "battle stance". lol

you're dead on with the newer BMW owners. You can't post about anything in the E9x forums without being told how much better the 335i is than every other car and the only reason you didn't buy one is because you're too poor..

it took me weeks to figure out what FBO is. it's so different from here, where guys basically engineer their own drivetrains from scratch.

I wasn't going to call out Scrapeyard because some decent cars still show up, but the majority that makes up that scene all have giant holes in there floorboards.....

The guys throw around FBO like is a complement to themselves that they've reached a level of superiority by buying every bolt on "performance" option for their car. All it tells me is you have not individuality to separate you and your car from everyone else, no real mechanical ability and well....you're still a douche.

My favourite are the guys with 30 stickers on the window of their brand new leased by mom and dad cars, with maybe a farty exhaust or lowered with some shitball wheels bouncing all over, redline next to you so you're like oh great lets go for a run through the corner coming up, and then the guy parks it in the corner and then parks harder at the local coffee shop/hangout. So many of those around where I live, it's quite frustrating.
