ECS shipping has always been sky high and slow but they do seem to have everything I ever need in stock...

for oem parts, the cheapest place is still husker bmw/bmwmercedes parts.com

for aftermarket, both the above are great. i have not used blunt yet, but the next time i buy an e30, i'm going to seriously look into it.

On no planet has ECS never been the cheapest. Once in a blue moon they will have a blow out price on some random item. Not only are their prices usually higher, their shipping costs are inflated. They do have a nice website and are heavy in the community which is probably the reason for the higher cost.

I use this tool to find the cheapest parts. I have not found a specific dealer that is always the lowest time after time. But there are about 2-3 that are very close to the bottom consistently.
Introducing BMW PNPC (Part Number Price Comparison): quick, easy, and efficient price comparison across multiple BMW parts vendors. No install necessary, simply download and use. Find parts from over forty sites, export prices to Excel, save custom settings, and much more.

Maybe now they'll have a sale on their euro bumper set to celebrate.... I can be hopeful.

I have a stack of receipts that beg to differ. Even with their inflated shipping I still save a few dollars.

Wow. I have never found that to be the case.

I also am sure Blunt or GPS would match their competition.

I am always looking for the best deal. I shop around.

I agree, although lately their prices have been better but still with the shipping its been coming out way more. FCP has been doing a decent job lately.

It pisses me off when I see something for $10 and it costs me like $10 to ship it.

Their prices look good at first glance, but somehow they manage to fuck it all up when it comes time to add in shipping.

I love that I can email blunt in the middle of the night and get a response almost immediately. Add super fast shipping to that and I see not reason to look anywhere else, unless blunt doesn't have it

Right! Totally agree! I was feeling guilty when that first happened to me. I'm thinking, man I totally f-ed this guy's date night. Monday am I get an email confirmed part is on the way. WTF!

I have 3 BMWs. (I realize I need a pysch eval but it is what it is.) I call Blunt (Steve) he answers. I explain it's this thing that attaches to this part but needs to be a right handed thing. He emails me a oem parts diagram, circles what he thinks I am trying to explain and boom, my part is on the way.

Just saying guys, the bigs have nothing over this company/Steve. Including price.

ECS definitely gives a shit. They are very active over on the Audi forums, and will make things right if needed.
