That's a pretty tight control on your finances you've got there.
That's seems like it's just a figure based on top dollar for his E92 in early 2019.

I wonder if anyone out there actually has any real figures on remaining E30s by nation or worldwide?

Verts and is models might be harder to come by, but normal 325i and 318i cars will be around for a while. Might be a little pricier, but not by much.

^^^ Thats seems right. Its hard to find clean vert, most verts are tortured and I see many people parting them out, especially the early models. Sad .

Agreed, I have 2 early verts, and its hard to find the right parts for them already. 1 day th 2 may make just 1. HAHA

So I sat down and did some math....oh, hang on, carry the 9, divide by pi.....yep - they will all be gone in 2.995 years.

I recalculated your numbers. It's actually 2.9952 years.

Plenty of clean 'verts in FL. There's just a slow trickle for sale as the owners die or go into retirement homes.

. Bravo! Someone that didn't give a stupid answer. (There were a few others in here too)

I think they plastic bumper E30s will see a moderate price jump.

                    Totally incorrect

It's all about the alum bumpers. Those will increase in value, no question.
Nobody wants em, therefore they will be scrapped first. The 88's with the alum bumpers and later bodies will be worth the most as they are the best of both worlds

Based on this I'm rolling my e30s in to my IRA then selling 3 year futures, then retiring.

Shoot, they are everywhere out here. Austin just started parting out a super clean Alpine 325 vert because nobody around here wanted it for $1500..

You don't see a lot of E30s in Ontario. Lucky if I see one a month up here. Quite a few have been smashed and put up as parts cars.

You do get lucky sometimes though.
