    does anyone else miss 5toes?

      Real Vert?

I saw an E30 M3 red convertible in the background around the 2 minute mark:

Yea looks like the seller has quite the garage...

        Its already at $42k!

Today also marks the end of mrdeezy's 318is auction. $10.8k right now, not sure how much bidding is left, but we'll see

I know the seller of the silver e30 m3. The garage is his dads. And yes, there is a e30 m3 vert there. :) although it has a mtech 2 spoiler on the trunk which I despise.

Nice car. Desirable color combo is probably whats pushing the price up so fast.

Cardinal was mostly despised back in the day especially lachssilber on cardinal. IMO, that's the worst combo one could possibly get in an M3. It's one of those things that's uncommon for a reason. Funny how things can change over time.

It works on the slightly later cars that have it with the black carpet and speaker shelves. It's a little much when everything is red imo.

I gotta say I'm with Barry, 23 year owner, looked at lots of cars before I bought my first and then 2nd one,,, of all the color combos Lachsilber with Cardinal was my least favorite.
I've softened on it since, in fact I somewhat like it now, but back in the mid 90s I passed on several nice cars because of that combo when I was E30M3 shopping.

I totally get it btw, just having fun. It also doesn’t help that cardinal photographs very poorly. Love my IX color combo.

I’m also reminded of the AW/Cardinal E30 M3 at the Zentrum museum in Spartanburg. Pretty sure that was a red carpet car as well. with red carpet came the red package tray, red premium speakers etc.

                              White/Red, Silver/Red, Black/Red, all classic combos IMO.

Colored interiors are polarizing, either you like them or you don't.

I'm a fan, red, blue, green, love them. Better than another boring black interior.
