The German e30 guys have been gob smacked at the prices on 325i verts for years now. Classic Data has pre facelift condition 2 verts at 19k Euro. So that result shouldn't surprise. Its interesting that I see various US market models show up in Europe for sale just as the price starts moving here. Definitely a correlation. People have been quietly shipping US cars out overseas for many years now. Even cars with diving boards are still sought after as long as the body is good. I've read somewhere that the convertible version of a classic car typically fetches the most money. From what I've seen with VW Bugs, Caddy's and such it's true."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
