Another early model, looks like a genuine euro model too... I dont think diving board cars are going to make the cut on BaT

Bid for the chance to own a No Reserve: Euro 1985 BMW 323i at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and classic cars online. Lot #5,342.

Low mileage 323i! Should be interesting.

Well it looks like late models in general are now 10 K plus cars especially if they're clean

Good thing it's not a diving board car, then?

Looks like a r3v member ( earthwormjim) won the touring auction, but IIRC he was looking for a BAR legal car and I think he's about to find out the hard way that registering that car in CA will be "fun"
9 months and several thousands of dollars later, and the car is registered in California! Got my plates this week.

Between the BAT price and the Certificate of Conformance, almost used up my VW TDI buyback money, still some money left over for suspension and other maintenance items.

Took about 1 hour of arguing with the guy at the DMV that I do not need a smog certificate, that's the whole point in giving them a Certificate of Conformance! He didn't even believe the writing on the DMV website.

Car has been pretty nice so far. Only disappointing part is seeing the hack job on the radio. Bought a whole bunch of multi-colored wiring to rebuild the harness, and a CM5908 radio.

This is a neat little feature I haven't seen before. On an upward trend for sure!

Will we see any pics of it with CA plates?
