What is it with "0" post user names in the classifieds??

I have been getting multiple PM from users with 0 post count trying to "make a deal" but when asking for more info or someone to vouch for them, they disappear.
why don't we block people with 0 posts from sending PMs? heck, even a minimum of 5 posts would stop 99.9% of all spammers since few post more than twice.

Isn't that how bfc is? That would definitely help the issue.
they are no doubt scammers. but on an unrelated topic, what the hell are those people who make threads titled like 3 random words example : " suddenly with then " then its a bunch of links

I agree, and no new topics until 10 posts or something since that would be too much work for them
50 post min or a month of membership to create threads and 10 posts to send PM. Maybe a week of membership and 10 post? Don't know, but it seems like we could weed out the spammers pretty fast with a policy like that.
The M3forum is that way, its 150 post or a year of membership in good standing to post parts for sale in the classifieds. They run a tight ship in the classifieds. http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=235899
It sucks it has to be that way, I ended up with some random E36 and E39 parts I want to sell cheap but I have no way of letting anyone know I have them, so here they sit brand new in boxes taking up space on my table....
