That one also had a tune, something I was not made aware of until BMW tried to code my steering rack and couldn't. The car had a piggyback tune. The guy never told me. So it was making about 285 I believe. It still drives as long as you don't mind no power steering.......But that sucks

Sadly they aren't helping you learn anything either.
You should be under the car doing these repairs yourself to save money instead of paying a shop. A lot of us couldn't pay a shop and had to learn to DIY.
This story is really sad. Sure you know you made a mistake, but you don't get it.1991 318iC

Damn that's a tough spot especially if you already don't have disposable income. Can you call the seller and tell him you want your money back? Maybe he can take the car back and you can split the cost of the repairs you already did. That way he has a small incentive to take it back and you reduce your loss as much as possible.F80 ///M3 CS

The e30 gods have punished me.
I see that there's two ways to redeem yourself.
#1 finish fixing up the car and get the body inline as best as possible. then take it to car max and let them take it away since the Carfax is clean
#2 show us pictures of your girlfriend, but only if she's over 18Simon

F30 = fail (that is NOT an E90, the first warning sign). Weak steering feedback (literally, a Chrysler Minivan has better steering feel). the 328i 4cyl sounds like a 1980's diesel VW rabbit, and manages to be even less reliable, while having all of the annoying turbo lag. It literally looks like a 2000's Buick with BMW logos stuck on it (I saw one in a parking lot, and no kidding, wondered why a 2001ish Buick Century had BMW logos on the wheels). 99% of them are AT (automatic fail). I'd rather jab myself in the eye with a rusty fire poker than look at the F30. $14k for a used one? You could get an E90 335i for $5k less, and bought a warranty for $3000, and been miles ahead. No wonder it was so cheap. They were looking for a sucker, and found you (unfortunately)
That's bad enough. But you bought one basically sight unseen, without knowing what it even was (again, NOT an E90). Next time, get a PPO. Lesson learned?
I'll forgive you for being a dumb kid. Hopefully you can figure a way out of this mess. I'd start with them claiming it was a clean car (BTW, since you're young - carfax is about as worthless as shit stained toilet paper - I went with a friend to buy a WRX years ago, they claimed up and down the car was clean as Carfax said so, but it had obviously been in a very serious accident). Seriously, $14k is enough to take them to small claims court. There's no way they didn't know the car wasn't fucked when they sold it to you. Find a lawyer and do what you need to do. This is America after all.Comment

BTW, I'd need to write a Perl script to even read your original post. Try paragraphs next time. I got enough from reading the replies to see you'd bought a POS car from reading 1/2 of your first sentence + the replies (F30 with serious accident damage, bad enough it was an F30 to begin with) to know you need help. R3v to the rescue?Comment

wish the OP the best - if he's smart, he'll fight this. My next door neighbors took people to court over a similar situation, only it was a POS Dodge station wagon that is maybe worth $3k - sold with engine damage that was known about but hidden to the buyers, and they won.Comment

honestly, the original post was so badly written, my brain went straight to TL,DR mode and couldn't get past the first sentence and pictures. All I saw was "F30 328i with hidden accident damage".

Oregon has some of the loosiest car buying rules. I have been told. In other states I would win a suit but in Oregon no.
