In the time it took to write this post you could have worked on the car and been one step closer to finishing it ;)

A properly rebuilt M20 is quite expensive..
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

            Keep both...hehe

seriously my bet is on the M20 providing that the car is original and hasn't been modified or had previous accidents, keep it as an M20.

I am not sure but I am wondering how expensive those S54 are to maintain but I'd bet you could find another donor car with a blown engine for cheap if you want to keep the project alive.

I wouldn't sell the S54 especially if its been something on the bucket list.

Yep I got a second wind, I have been working and traveling so much I felt like I would never get this done. I have a nice weekend this week to work on it, start to pull the M20.

Then I took a bunch of days off after 4th of July to finish up everything I can to get to putting in the new engine!

                Sticking with the S54.

Yeah, you can do a lot with the M20 - but getting 300whp N/A is pretty tough. :)
