    Someone stole my kidneys!

Car had been parked in my driveway while I was out of town last week. Just walked around the front to realize my kidney grill had been stolen. Fuck people.

Looks like they are $75 new. Anyway to affix these so they are more thief proof? Wish I had a garage...

I don't think you can remove them without opening the hood unless you break the mounting points lol.

I'm sure someone on here will sell you some for the cost of shipping.

Lulz, it's like VW badge theft.

They're expensive for new OE ones, somewhere north of $80.

In future metal zip ties are your only defense, maybe drilling through the attaching tabs and using sheet metal screws to retain them to the rad support.

Guess it must have been all that spirited driving I was doing while I was out of town and the car was parked.

Props to DELPHINtimecapsule for hooking me up with a spare grill.

To what do we owe that old reference? I haven't even thought about that annoying ass video in 8-10 years.

It was the first thing I thought of when I read the title, it belongs in the Museum of Internet History.

Also, they probably used the hood latch release in the grille. What a specific and useless theft
