To add a bit more to Trent's comment (which is true), we all have e30s and brag on them with all their problems. In the end, we still made our choice, and our interest in them is what keeps us coming back to this community.

Now as I am making no guarantees, I'm hoping that many here donated because they've seen some of the media showing what I am capable of. For whatever happens at the event, I'll make sure it's clear to everyone here that it is an honor sliding on everyone's dime.

As of right now I have a lot in donations... I'll post a final number after the event.

As for spenditures, I already paid my event registration fee, a 6 puck sprung clutch from clutchnet.com, and Vorshlag's 80mm stud kit (which was long overdue already.... constantly changing wheels with lugs in one day is annoying). One member provided AKG Polyurethane CABs, and said he would gladly have them pressed into a pair of lollipops from his parts car and mail them over. Someone else is providing me with the fiberglass remains of their Rieger lip which I should be bringing it back together, hopefully before the event. There's still 3 weeks to go so if I have everything with a week prior, I should be good.

I'm keeping track of everything on my laptop and I'll have exact numbers after everything is put in. I'll keep you guys posted and hopefully once parts start coming in I can start taking some pics and keeping you guys updated as the preparations take place. :)
