Just curious as to what most people do. I always have it resting on the clutch.

Well, when I say faster shifting, I mean it eliminates the time your foot travels from the footrest to the clutch. I do practice downshifting, heel-toe, and accasonlaly double clutching on a regular basis, but I don't push the car by any means.. Usually never shift past 3k. I’ll stop my riding the clutch habit pronto, thanks :)
