It sounds like all of the hype about Alonso going to SF next year is looking very possible. Spanish banking giant Santander (if anyone remembers Peter Windsor's 5-minute discussion, it's pronounced "san-tan-deh,") is moving from McMerc to Ferrari in 2010. I've never been a huge Alonso fan (I hate that #$%^&*) but this all makes sense that a Spanish bank conglomerate would be changing teams to support a successful Spaniard, like everyone knows, you gotta support the team.

If the team is going from McMerc to Ferrari it would make more sense that Pedro De La Rosa is switching in my opinion. Doubt that would happen though, and as I have said before I hope Alonso doesn't go to Ferrari, it just doesn't feel right.

Vettel at Red Bull next year. Webber and Vettel will be an awesome combo for sure.

That should be pretty interesting. With the performance of this year's RB4, and those two drivers, they could very easily overtake Renault IMO.

Especially if its raining. Although Webber had a little mistake at the last race, he is usually one of the top guys in the wet, and we've seen the same from Vettel.

Glad to see its been confirmed....it had been one of the worst kept secrets in the F1 paddock rumor mill lately. So the big mystery is who gets Vettel's seat for 2009. Some good talent to pick from in GT2. I wonder if Bruno Senna is even being considered.

I'm watching practice and I have that live timing page up, it's pretty neat. The Live Timing get the numbers a few seconds before the TV does.

German magazine Sport Bild pulished that Brasilian Bruno Senna, nephew of Aryton Senna, is being considered by Honda, BMW-Sauber and Toro Roso for next season. He could go to BMW-Sauber as a test pilot or even as a starting pilot for 2009.

                        I can't wait!

How is it that Hamilton is so quick through the final sector? Mclaren must be running higher downforce than the other cars.

Not sure...aero could be one. Personally I think he's going a bit light on fuel to try and open a gap and work on pit strategy from there. Weather seems to be favorable so I'm anticipating mainly red and silver cars leading the pack with either one Renault, Toyota or BMW somewhere in the mix.

I see Heikki losing out to Massa somewhere near the beginning of the race. Then if Lewis will oblige and hit Coulthard in the pits all can be good for this race!
