Just got through watching practice ane qualifying.

Is Lou-ees a cocky little bastard or what? I dislike him more every race.

I thought it was interesting the comment about the teammate situation at Ferrari, that Kimi needs a slower teammate who won't be getting so many of his championship points.

I never said he wasn't a good driver, I think he's a great driver for a great team...............................I just don't like him.

Like him or hate him, Loo-wees Ha-meel-ton drove a brilliant race today. His car was clearly one of the fastest and he was consistent and pretty much error-free the whole time. The Speed guys commented how the folks at Mercedes have made some refinements to the engine (despite the 'frozen' specs mandated by the FIA). McLaren definately have an edge on outright speed. The most impressive part was how Lewis was putting 1+ seconds per lap on everyone right after the safety car exited following Glock's yard sale on the front straight...sure hope he's ok, that was a pretty hard shunt.

BMW Sauber just didn't have the package this weekend. Kubica was plagued with handling issues but Heidfeld did quite well - starting 12th while finishing 4th. Good result for him....he needed it.

Agreed with everything you said. I don't dislike Hamilton, but I never have caught on to the bandwagon that is his fans. He is an incredible driver sans traffic though, the leads that he builds up are unbelievable when you consider how close they usually are against Ferrari.

BMW-Sauber did fair today, it was definitely an off-day for Kubi, but Heidfeld did quite well for starting in P12. Good on him for being the highest placed German at his home race.

It was a very, very impressive day for Piquet Jr. Maybe after this, Renault will allow his father to come watch his son race. :D

Ba. Hamilton was going to win this today no matter what. I will say that Heiki could of put up more of a fight.. it seemed like he just moved over.

Yeah that was an accident and at least he looked back to make sure she wasn't dead. In other news, anyone know if they will reshow the German Grand Prix on speed? I missed it and would like to watch it. Also anyone know if there is footage of the BMW M1 race event earlier that day and on Saturday?

Speed always re-airs the Fox races on Wednesdays at 12:30 PM. Thankfully, I believe this is the last Fox-aired race of the season. Not sure about the M1 race though? Was it some sort of Procar reincarnation or what?

Exactly what it was, minus the F1 racers and with people who raced back then or are old and important i guess. They had a bit on the F1.com website but i never saw any video or anything. The Warhol Art M1 was raced in it though which I would love to see in motion. I think Niki Lauda raced as well.

I have to say I was falling asleep in the first part of the race, but after the safety car it was more interesting to watch. Still a boring race. Next one should be fun
