Great quali session this morning (got up at 4am and watched it live :loco: ). Glad to see the Pole on Pole.....its taken a lot of work but Be-Em-Dubya finally got the top spot. Now the question is, as Dave mentioned, can they maintain it to the checkered? Kubica has his work cut out as both Massa and Hamilton are quick and consistant. If "Bob" doesn't win it outright, I think we can be hopeful in seeing a Bavarian machine on the podium.
On a side note, David Hobbs was amp'd on coffee or something midway through the broadcast.

I can't stand that guy anymore. I used flip between Speed and TSN (ITV rebroadcast) when they had commercials, usually out of sync. I stopped when a few years back Hobbs started getting REALLY senile. You could hear him slobbering on the mic, trying to keep his dentures from falling out. Felt like I was watching golf.
Good to hear that Kubica got on pole. That's furthur motivation for me to watch it live. On a side note, does anyone know if F1 broadcasts in HD? I have been watching F1 (Practice, Quali, and Race) on Speed-HD, but the picture doesn't seem to be HD quality.

Ok, so who watched it today? I'm sure there's some who Tivo'd it and have still yet to watch so I won't go into too much "spoiler" mode here. Lets me just say this.....

This race proves that Hamilton dosent have what it takes. Any other driver [Massa, Kimi, Schumi, Alonso] would of made points from this. He had a hard time getting past the Super Best Friends, mainly cause he ate up his tires. Much like last years Chinese race, he has no idea how to conserve tires.
Good on Kubica, but there was no way in hell he would of won that race.
Massa needs to win the next three to be back on track. He can, just needs to go out there and crush eveyone like he did this past weekend.

Sure he could have, but only if the Ferraris had problems, like they did in Melbourne.
BMW is getting closer to the level of Ferrari, but clearly they are not there. Still, with Hamilton showing signs of major weakness and Heikki still being a little green, There may be a lot of podiums for BMW this year. I think they are in great position to take at least #2 in the Constructor's points. (Ferrari will win that, obviously).
I can see Heikki being #1 driver for McLaren before its all over this year. I think Hamilton's ego is as fragile as Alonso's . . . or maybe even more so.
Anyone else think Toyota gets a podium at some point this year?
Nakajima did very well during the first stint in Malaysia. Piquet is not very good, i dont see him being around next year, if not the end of this season.
Trulli can finish on the podium, but it looks like someone has to drop out from the BMW's, Ferrari's, or Mclaren's.
