Awesome race. My girlfriend was yelling at the TV at Lewis's shunt, "That's what you get you arrogant fuck!" lol

    WOW @ DC.

Anyone else catch practice and hear the 3 driver swap rumor?

    Piquet JR to STR
    DC to Renault
    Vettel to Red Bull

I don't care about the first two, but I'd love to see Vettel go to Red Bull, and hopefully they will get Webber's contract worked out so he will stay as well.

NASCAR has the same issues with commercials. LOTS of them and they are long.

One point during the FOX broadcast I counted 6 minutes of telecast and then 3 minutes of commercials. The reason for this is that F1 doesn't bring as much money per second of airtime so they have to have more.

        Oh and LH sucks.

I can't believe he is still on their roster. If I was a betting man I would bet on a better finish(Probably would FINISH the race) that their number 1 test driver would do better...

An absolutely awesome race with the best possible conclusion. Hamilton has got to be kicking himself like mad, and it was quite a shame for Kimi. Did anyone notice that the red light in the pits was on for waaaay too long? There wasn't any traffic coming, and then right after the collision, the light turns green. Questionable if you ask me.

The race may have been an equalizer that took out the two front runners, but regardless, the BMW boys did a stellar job of keeping cool during heated times. This boosted my morale, I hope they try to keep up this kind of performance in Magny Cours.

                Wow...

I heard it was intentional but Kubica was supposed to be on the LEFT and thus Kimi drives off the victory...

                Jesus.

[?] Not sure what you're getting at. I meant it looked as if the red light had been left on much too long. So, Kubi and Kimi stop at pit out and Lewis does not, because Lewis assumes pit out will be green like normal. Judging from the shots just before the incident, the green light should have been engaged just before the collision.

I've been a long time Kimi fan and was bummed to see what happened. But like any long time Kimi fan, I think we're used to bad shit happening, especially when a mclaren is involved. It's amazing what he's done with the luck he's had.

i dont think he was anticipating the light changing. i bet he looked down or just expected the other cars to keep moving. dont blame the light.

Well the reason that I "blamed" the light was because, at the time, there was no traffic approaching and yet it was still red.

Hamilton and Rosberg (believe it or not) are both being handed a 10-grid spot penalty for Magny Cours after colliding in the back of Raikkonen and Hamilton, respectively. I'm quite surprised that the stewards felt punishing Rosberg was necessary. He was the only one involved in the incident to finish the race, but he didhave to to pit in immediately after his initial lap 19 pit which is inarguably similar to a drive-through penalty.

                          Yeah i believe it.

And why not? I see the rule, but look at it last year. Massa and Fisi went through the red light when there was a gap no larger than the one kimi and kubica would of shot through.

So it was red... When I get to a red light if no one is coming I just go...

Regardless the light was red and Kimi and Robert were almost stopped when Lewis collided with Kimi and Nico hit Lewis.
