Lets not get too carried away with the Vettal talk. He is really good, but once upon a time there was a guy named Jean Alesi. Talent is good but you need the package. I hope Ferrari get him or maybe Renault. Renault is a long shot because we know what Alonso would say. "Here you go Redbull free engines now release that talented driver and we will all win;)"

I definately want to see a BMW on the podium - either driver for all I care. I know Mario & Co. are really aiming at steady progress in the Constructors' battle and they're only 10 points adrift from McLaren. My money would be on Kubica to make more podium realities than Nick. It's going to be an uphill battle for them though if they haven't improved their form since Hungary.

I just cheer for Vettel because I have been a fan of his since day one. And I would really really hate it if he went to Renault unless they get their act together and start cheating like everyone else does when it comes to engines.

In all honesty, those last two drives are some of the best ive seen from any driver in a while. Last three races have been very good drives.

Quite a race, for once I really hated it for Alonso. Nakajima rivals Coulthard for making some of the stupidest moves in recent Formula One history. Good to see Kubi snatching up a podium spot, BMW-Sauber really needed it. Heidfeld is continuing on his string of lackluster results for whatever reason, hopefully come Spa, they'll pick up the pace a bit.

Congrats to Massa, he won it outright.

Back-to-back domination, yes......sad he didn't finish in Turkey - that race was pretty much his until disaster struck. Now if Ferrari can sort this engine "dun-blow'd-up" issue, Massa could very well be the one taking home the driver's title. Their cars are fast, just as long as those engines hold to the checkered flag. It is very odd to see this happen twice in a row. Interesting note was that each engine expiration occured during its second stint of the mandatory 2-race duty cycle engine rule. They need to resolve this problem by Belgium or Massa will have something to worry about. As far as Kimi is concerned (personal opinion here), he's so far adrift in the points now that its going to take a miracle for him to defend his title from last year. Todays' outcome all but sealed his fate for the season.

I'm glad at least one BMW finished in the points - don't know what is up with Heidfeld. I think his contract is up for renewal at seasons' end so he's driving to retain his job for 2009 - if today is a sign of things to come, he isn't going to last. Kubica should be safe for a while - he's been the results man of that team this season. Another thing about BMW, their cars seem to be most competitive at really fast tracks. So the rounds at Spa, Monza and even Shanghai could see podium results for them and racking up some crucial points. They've got their work cut out if they are to leapfrog past McLaren in the constructors before the end of the year. And speaking of McLaren, unless they can find an answer to Ferrari, they will most likely be the first of the losers for 2008. Hamilton's lead in the points isn't enough to consider him 'a lock' just yet. He's still very much a contender though.

Interesting that he didn't go two or three year with them, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him go to McLaren (maybe even Ferrari) in 2010.
