To be honest, i haven't even looked in the engine bay. The day after i got the car, it went to a buddies body shop to replace the right front fender, hood, grill, and headlight bucket. The previous owner let the car roll forward in neutral on a small hill and rear end a 4 runner. The car has been ready for a couple of days but i haven't decided if i want it color matched for now, or the whole car repainted. Maybe i'll swap the drivetrain first and then paint, so it doesn't get scratched ( new paint ) as we work on it. I'm far from a beginner when it comes to working on cars. You can check out my previous e30 project on maxbimmer under the user name ctchirica in their archives. I did that car like two years ago 5 lug conversion and all. Thanks for your help, i won't trouble you with anymore questions.

Oh it's quite alright to ask questions, I just sort of thought you'd know where at least the resevoir is, especially having had another E30 project in the past.Originally posted by 5150ctTo be honest, i haven't even looked in the engine bay. Here is the link to my previous E30 project http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/show...&threadid=9037, look at the date since you doubt what i say. Second of all not all 5 speed cars share the reservoir for the brake fluid with that of the clutch master. Since my last e30 was a 5 speed to begin with i never looked for the reservoir because i didn't need to. I don't understand why you have to be so sarcastic when someone asks you a question. Don't confuse people asking questions to people having no automotive knowledge. I guarantee i can answer many questions related to e30's that you do not know the answer to because i have worked on it previously. Hence, when i asked you about the auto to 5 speed conversion, it was because i didn't have the car in front of me ( it was in the body shop ), so i asked you a simple question reguarding what you had just done on your car since you had the car there. I can't post pics of my current project because this site won't let me attach them like the maxbimmer site does.Comment

Whoa, lets stay cool headed here.
Also, sorry to bug about it, but TJ, any cance of a small write up on the Hydraulics/minor stuff etc? The transmission/driveshaft/clutch etc should be simple but there are other little things. Its up to you, but if you do i'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks.

Yeah I can do that when my computer gets setup here at school. Stupid tech services needs to pass every computer before you can connect to the network. Oh well, its better that they do that than have the network down for a month because of viruses like last year.Originally posted by BS87Whoa, lets stay cool headed here.
