So I take it the lip got there in one piece? Are you going to fiberglass it or anything? I was planning on doing it but never got around to it.

            I bombed Korea every night.

I guess, I found 3 cracks in it, as opposed to the 1 you said was there. 1 of the places where a clip mounts is all but broken off, and I know that didn't happen during shipping.

Fiberglass the back of it for strength you mean? I might, but its not very low on my car and I haven't even scraped it yet with the splitters on even.

Wow T.J., I knew you were busy with rebuilding, but I'm extremely excited to hear about whats going in. Your car has always been so clean and tasteful, the only thing holding it back was the tranny. Now your car is gonna be a monster.

                    Day 2:

I got the rotors off with some solid wacks from a sledge hammer and some PB Blaster. After drilled the head off of the stripped rotor locator screw, and removing the rotor, I was able to slot the remaining broken part of the bolt with a dremel tool and remove it with a flathead screw driver. I then removed my strut assemblies for cleaning. I removed the struts from the tubes, wiped them off (one of the bottom end caps is loose on my Bilstiens, but luckily its only the bump stop housing, I thought the strut blew for a minute). I reinstalled the strut collars with Loc-Tite because they keep on rattling themselves loose.

I drilled the 3rd bolt for the Sparco bar. Either my drill bits suck, or that metal is strong, because it was a lot of work.

I started painting my Sparco bar blue to match my plug wires. Looks great so far, but rain prevented me from finishing the job today.

I picked up my flywheel from the machine shop. He only shaved ~5 lbs off, but its all good. It was resurfaced and lightened for $100, and I think its fair. Its down to 15lbs, which should be fun.

Another slow day, I hope to really get busy tomorrow though.

Looking good, when do you do the tranny swap? I like the strut bar color.

It's all kinda being done as one project. I am going to start removing everything tomorrow, so the tranny should be in sometime early next week hopefully.

                          Fine sheet. ;)

Do I spy Duplicolor can, what paint is that exactly? Curious how it sticks/holds up, etc.

It's Duplicolor Engine Paint, in Ford Blue. The color is actually a lot more "blue", it looks smurf blue in that pic. I like it a lot. Duplicolor makes the best spray paint I've used. Their cans rock, and the spray nozzle is so wide, powerful, and even. I highly recommend it.
