From LCAB (lower control arm bushing) to LCAB (affectionately known as lolly pops to the dorks) Bracket.
Basically it's purpose is to reduce the compliance of the uni-body frame between the LCABs and additionally holds the brackets in double shear.
I'll measure and shoot one installed asap...
About the same as the X brace though.Comment

Would it then affect the steering feel, say, making if feel heavier, or more precise?

Yes under extreme conditions but not the kind of feedback you get out of the X brace.
It does give the ride a bit more "solid" feel and it does reduce "shudder" on acceleration in the cabriolet.Comment

Hmm, interesting... I like the concept of the whole "Chassis bar light" for DDs and more affordable...
Depending on how xmas break goes, i might look into one of these

Was there an answer to the "fit a convertible??" question I missed? Specifically a 93 E30 325i Cabrio. I'd order a whole dang host of frame strengthening parts for this car if they fit: Better Strut Tower Brace (the scrawny Eibach one I'm using now is probably not helping a bit), Lower X-Brace, Rear X-Brace. LOTS of Cabrios sold over the years that need tightened-up handling as they wobble into the geriatric years.Comment
