I havent seen much bashing...
Have you seen r3v?
Compared to most this is pretty tame IMO
Ultimately though, i think he is worried about being ripped off. Its been mentioned in other threads as well as being a pattern in the e30 aftermarket community, which is why you don't see Mark D coming out with his new chip, or letting all his secrets known on a easily accessible websiteLast edited by Stephen; 11-24-2008, 02:56 PM.

And I think it does, he’s still giving super vague answers for him being a vender (such as that picture just posted above).
Yes r3v is full of bashing, but we are talking customers vs vender here. Different story I think. The thing about r3v is, as a whole, it knows when to be respectable and when not to be. People may be quick to jump the gun on things, but they also apologize when need be.

any gains from a super fancy intake/elbow are pretty much out the window because there is a friggin SQUARE DOOR in the middle of the intake tract.
I should run a line from my second MAP sensor to the airbox and compare pressures to see if the stock intake is really a significant bottleneck.

Daniel actually reminds me of Gene Berg a little.
i think what he is trying to do is get you to think about what will make your car handle or perform better, not just buy into what ever is being sold. he has seems to have a bunch of ideas and info to share, but not everything is a marketable product that money can be made from, which can be frustrating if you are trying to make money at it. sometimes you can make an excellent product, but the market just can't support it because of priceseien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

I suppose I should have explained this while I was here at lunch...
This Grid:
Placed in this area of the induction at a 45 degree at the leading side of the center of the 90 degree turn forces the air to make the turn without tumbling.

Swiss cheese airbox?
Inside the air cleaner there is (or should be...we are talking 9/87+) an Air horn...
It is only about 20mm away from the inside of the air cleaner wall....
Shorten this by about 30mm (take it off the back not the end...requires splicing the mounting attachment)

FrankenKar (90 325i): Stock Displacement, Modded Pistons, Cam, OS Valves, Manifold and Head Work, Reduced rotating mass, Software...and some really cheap ass (hell free) Alpina Knock off headers from China.
Anything else?

It was a major flop, IIRC.
There is one in my S50 E30, but only because Bob is a silly boy. ;)
Good luck.
This whole thread was a info only thing... and a little rant.
EDIT: this grid was out of my long gone M3...
