If you decided to move on from E30's, ...

...what would you choose? I am sure some of you have thought about ditching the E30 project for something else altogether. I know I have at times, though this is the first car (out of 5 I've owned) that I am not sick and tired of driving after 4.5 years. Unlike my previous 318i, Mazda MX-6 and RX-7. Just wanted to see what else could move you like an E30.

I've kinda have had a record of owning a car for a year, then getting tired and moving on. Put this car has a lot of money into it, and I really enjoy it. Of course, I am getting a little annoyed by gas mileage, creaks and jolts from bumps, etc. But I think I would kick myself if I ever sold this car. I just need to get it out on the track to get addicted to it and the experience.

You don't have an Euro category - I would possibly want either a 20V coupe or A4 1.8tq, etc. Or go Import Scene again, with an original SE-R, G20, Integra, or hopefully eventually a 94+ Acura Legend GS 6spd Sedan. 8) Or even a swapped eg hatch.

Most people on here would say they will stick to BMWs, because they are kick ass. And they are, but everyone also has other favorties - whether they would be 240s, Jeeps, Porsches, or VWs.

I would most likely get into VW's, I know a guy in California who has two MkII Golf Rallye's right now...

Either than or a MkII or MkIII GTi, I love hatchback VW's.

        But I won't.

Acura Legend coupe 6-speed was near the top of my list as well. My friend had a 93 Legend GS it had tons of pull. I might consider an Acura Integra and meeting up with my cousin and mod the crap out if it (he has a 13.2 sec street 92 Civic Type SiR)
I love the E46 BMW, but my legs are long and was a VERY uncomfortable ride (for me).

Legends are very nice, and the GS and 6spd are very sweet. 230hp back in the day. Ludacris's favorite car in his stable is a Legend. Unforunately, I don't have the $$$ to buy one as a daily driver right now.

Meh, might as well mention if I can land grades to keep my scholarship, I'll hopefully pick up a 92-93 Integra GS for a daily driver. I had a 93 LS Special (leather, automatic) which was nice and comfortable, and attractive.

Making the 60 miles trip between my home and my university would be a lot better if I could get 35+ mpg rather than like 24 at best........

I'd either get an E24 or E28. If I was to completely leave, the only modern car I'd want is a Volvo S60R.

Most likely a RWD import. Ive been looking at my options lately. I like the RX8 but I am skiddish that they dont have a factory effort to increase the power yet. The G35 is a great car as long as you dont intent to put anything but children in back. The IS300, blah.

If only I could afford a good late model NSX. I know a lot of people dont like the headlights so maybe I could get one of those cheap.

When kids are immenent Chrystler 300c or a used 5-series touring.
                  Im now E30less.

I saw an awsome 535i E28 5 speed about a month ago for sale. Already have 2 cars right now, though. Now, if I could get my hands on an E9 3.0, hehe........

I've heard a rumor that Mazda will intorduce a Mazdaspeed RX-8 with an "electric turbo" versus an exhaust driven offered on the past RX-7's. It's supposed to be cleaner in running and far more fuel efficient (though how much remains to be seen). I test drove an RX-8 last year and was very impressed, as it reminded me of all the good things I loved about my RX-7.

i would probly end up in the import scene. i have 4 friends that are all super honda freaks and can do anything to or with them. so id say id probobly end up driving either an intergra, civic hatch, or 240.

but even so, i dont think ill be switching from my e30 any time soon.

An electric turbo will never happen. DC motors are too inneficient.

Mazaspeed has an RX8 now, but it has no power increase.

Im thinking of real boost. The problem is they need a cooling kit with it, that is the ONLY part that killed the Gen 2/3 RX7s.
                              Im now E30less.
