Drew, I would have been a Honda guy, but I had started with an Auto.....and I don't like FWD. It's so boring. Even if you are going FAST......what can you do? Understeer?. RWD is more fun.

    But if you throw a B18C or turbo a B18B and throw it in a $1500 eg hatch.....that will be quick. I mean, I/H/E on a B18C and 93 hatch = 14.2. :D JDM-fronted DC Integras are hot too.

And is the Honda scene slowing down, or is that just my mistake? The crowd seems to be going over to 240s for the RWD and drifting. It must be hard to believe there used to be a time where Honda parts weren't in catalogs

I plan on getting an S2000 some day. It is deffinatly a car that i can see myself in.
But if i were gonna give up the e30 i think i would want an RX7. My bro had an older 88 and it was a fun car, but im thinking more around the 95 year.

My next vehicle will be a Chevy 2500hd... don't plan on getting rid of my e30 though...

If I had to, and I couldn't get another e30, I would most likely end up with a honda. I've done so much research into them that it would be stupid to let it go to waste :P

If your asking if you were to move on from E30s what would your car be next then ill have to say i would give the Porsche scene a try. Probably start out with a 944. Saw one at the track yesterday had a talk with him and he is a big porsche guy and nabbed the one i saw a 1987 944 for $2,200 in perfect condition black on tan and with 137k miles oh and a manual. about 200 less then what i payed for my early production 86 Eta. So they are not really that expensive.

ive drivin my friends hondas before and i have really enjoyed driving them

turbo: rediculously fast. it outran a corvette. i was in the car and saw it happen

h22 civic: with race suspension, cage and 5 point harneses. was so fast i about shit myself

b18 with tons of headwork: it rev'd to 11000rpm. whats not to like about that.

teg gsr. reved like a champ and downshifted like a dream. granted there was alot of work done to the tranny/clutch area. it was great fun.

i ridden/driving alot of hondas like this. and overall i enjoyed them. but even so, id rather stick to my e30 roots. i belive i was kept alive by driving one, so i think ill stick to them.

I'll probably end up getting an S54 M Coupe at some point. I love those cars.

I agree. They are awesome cars. Too bad they are so rare. Damn things are still selling for close to $40k.

I dont see another sports car/sedan in my near future, but if I did, It would either be a C5 Z06 or new C6. Or, in a few years, C6 Z06. Best bang for the buck performance car. Used C5 Z06's are in the low 30k's, and dropping.

I would love to get into a Subaru sometime in the next few years. Sti's are just one of the meanest looking cars on the road and the power they can handle on stock internals is nuts. A guy I know from Elkton has a new STI that's slated to be one of the fastest cars at an STI vs. EVO shootout this weekend in Jersey. Plus the adjustable awd system is nasty.

This could probably convince me to leave the e30 community.

This is going to be my next vehicle though.

Porsche... because by the time I get rid of my e30 bug, I will have enough for a 911 of some sort. :D

Realisticly, I'd probably buy an E36, a 240SX and do the SR20DET swap, or deck out an EK hatch. My mom owns an EK and I love the styling of them.

Let's drive fast and have fun.
