Rob - you used to be part of the Honda crowd, correct? Well I don't mean to offend anyone's tastes, but I just don't like the feel of FWD cars. And yes, I know that something like an Integra with the right suspension will kill most RWD cars on a track but I just don't see the point in making powerful FWD cars. I see their benefit as being daily drivers, or mildly modded cars for fun, but if I had a ton of money too dump on a car it would never be FWD. -
i honestly dont know. i kinda need a wagon for hauling shit for work. so i was thinking of a Cherokee ... still look cool looking(IMO), and id chuck it on gas to save fuel.
maybe a domestic v8. new monaro(GTO) would be cool, but second hand market is still kinda dear(for the money id rather an e36 m3). so maybe just a ls1 commodore(looks like a 4dr GTO)
for cheap performance, itd probly be a jap car ... only way i could see myslef doing that is if i built a 'circuit' style R32 skyline. possible a 180sx(your 240 i think), but it would have to look ultra tough.
for something cool/different, id like to get back into minitrucks too. build a slammed 2dr Toyota Hilux, and swap in a Nissan sr20det ... although a friend of a friend had one, until he rolled it recenty. doh. maybe not the best chassis for a hipo motor. lol
possibility of an e36, but it would have to be an M3, or have 4 doors and a decent sized motor.
for noow, e30s are still chill.sigpicM42 Brigade ... Throwing craze in the 318Comment

Because I've seen too many teenage ricers drop their jaw to anything that says vtec on it. Now matter how good it actually is, it's still an overrated system. I don't care much for peaky 4 bangers that don't make much torque.Originally posted by graphikwhy does vtec suck?Originally posted by JarvisHaha. Guess I mixed VTEC with M-tech.
See, I really don't give a shit about VTEC. I can't even spell it right.
I have one of those phones, BTW. They suck, like the other VTEC ;)Comment

Well as I try to think of reasons Id sell my current car, or how much I would get for it, etc, etc.
I just get boggled. Personally, I think it'd be just too much of a hastle to sell to someone, especially if they didnt like a certain thing or too. I could always try to part a few items out, but then Id be missing some pieces and would have to replace them before I sell it off.
My goal is 25, if I can make it 5 or 6 more years with this car, then it was all worth it IMO.
Knock on wood, but the only way I see my self parting with it, is through an accident of some sort.
Hopefully after college or perhaps at that 25 year old age goal, I can pick myself up a 97 E36 M3 if im lucky. If 95 M3's are still ticking strong in 2009-2010, then maybe an Avus Blue or Dakar M3. Id imagine they'd be less then 10k by then most likely.
All of this depending on a lot of factors, such as location, income, and experience.
Oh well, BMW's for now on though. Dont know why, just hooked. That choice got my vote.

then stay away from the s14. i think vtec is a great system, good fuel economy when you need it down low, but also a nice kick if you rev up the car.Originally posted by JarvisBecause I've seen too many teenage ricers drop their jaw to anything that says vtec on it. all I'll say is that is a horribly retarded and malinformed statement, and that's all I'll say.Originally posted by JarvisNow matter how good it actually is, it's still an overrated system..
opinions are like assholes and all that.
for the record, I'd take a lot of honda motors over an s14, any day of the week, and twice on SundaysBEERTECH
