Wow and I only had one post in this thread.

All I have to say is if your opinion is different from mine you are wrong.

Honestly, I'm really not meaning to fight or argue. I just want to know what makes an LS1 superior to the CA-t. Then I'll have something to talk about with the guys around the water cooler tomorrow at work.
Ummm, I'm all one for imports, but even I know that is fucking stupid. The LSx engine is a superior engine.. Not just to the CA, but lots of others. All aluminum V8.

another quality thread started by E-rich!

Personally i'm diggin the swap, tuff as nails engine ready to have the shit thrashed out of it and make power all day long.

Keep up the good work and fu(k the haters.

And the LS1 has a much larger range of bolt ons to pretty much make a ridiculous amount of power. Get bored with the performance from your chip and exhaust, throw a cam in that you could just about pick up at your local walmart and hello more power

i think its ridiculous the way that people react about your car bro, i think its awesome and it actually functions, its your car do what you want, and you have done exactly that, props to you bro!

i heard about your car through some friends that go to some local drift events and said your shit was badass!

I love it. Not necessarily because of the car, but because you have the stones to build it your own fucking way when you know the rest of R3V will tear at your rectum for it. Thumbs way up.

Oh, and to the doubts about classy stingrays:
            Exhibit A:

            Exhibit B:

They swing both ways, just like every other car.

I realized I haven't even posted what I think about the car.
I don't mind the design, color, wheels, etc. of the car, but I think the wing is rediculous.

As far as the LS1 vs. the CA motor, you can't logically compare the two.

                                CA18-DE

                                Displacement: 1809cc
                                Bore/Stroke: 83x83.6
                                Compression: 9.5:1
                                Horsepower: 135 HP @6400RPM(DE)
                                Torque: 115 ft/lbs @5200(DE)

                                vs.

                                Corvette LS1

Type 5.7 liter V-8 Displacement Displacement 5.665 liters or 345.69 cubic inches Horsepower 345 @ 5600 rpm Torque (lb-ft) 350 @ 4400 rpm Max. You would have to throw at least $3,000 into a CA to make it somewhat equal to the LS1, even then it falls short.

With full bolt-ons, LS6 cam, LS6 heads, and a tune, you have a 400+whp monster of an engine!

Fuck all the haters. The LSX family of engines are the best bang for the buck, PERIOD! BMW can't even come close for the price. Too bad GM is filing for bankruptcy tomorrow. I doubt the government will keep our performance minded consumers happy in the future... :-(
