^12 under full throttle? Hmmm... I've been tuning for 11 at WOT @ full boost. Might have to lean it out and gain some more torque.

PS: I love and hate your thread Buttchug. Makes me want to keep my turbo m42 forever. But unfortunately it has to go soon...

you could try another step down in plugs. i assume its 91 pump right? Its real hard to say whats going on without seeing some tables. 12 is safe under load though.

7-8lbs of boost. I got rid of the RRFPR and tuned the car for 36lb (I think?) injectors. AFR is locked around 12 at full throttle, could probably lean it out a touch but its a safe tune. Stoich during part throttle/cruise.

I think you could get away with no intercooler if you got a better tune. Post your msq file and maybe I can help a bit more

same. its even worse to hear the car choke out up high. It wants more so bad but its just not happening with the stock setup. Its not so much the intake as it is the dual plate style throttle body.

Supposedly the setup was bulletproof for e30s but they dont have knock sensors like the e36. I really wish it was more possible to add an intercooler.

you shouldnt be taking time away you should be adding time, and only a small amount.
