Ok, thanks! I don't want to weld anything so I'll just get a longer battery cable and use a bolt. Not a fan of messing up paint if I don't have to.

Get a longer ground cable and bolt it to the rear shock mount. just make sure its clean metal and the ground will be fine

Helping my buddy clean shop, look what he hooked me up with!

Now I can fix the battery and the crusty grounds from the old tray.

New headlight came in the mail from autozone.


Exact match to my old one. Hella 304-115 704 other number is 50R-00514 cost $34 shipped.


Came with boot, no bulb, used my old one.


Only a few Phillips screws and it was out and in. Didn't even open the hood all the way.


Now it looks too good compared to the others, better break it or something!

New batteries for the glovebox flashlight came today!! 120lm led still in the mail. Can't wait for the led, this bulb is totally useless in a flashlight.


Prep. I didn't get a battery with solder tabs, but the tab with the blue wire spot welded to it doesn't let solder stick anyway.


Bent the tab for some tension, and held in with tape long enough to glue the cover closed with a couple drops of super glue.


Woo hoo!!


Tried to clean the yellowing. BMW logo came off, yellow didn't. Oh, and I hate superglue so much!! What a life.


Oh, and here's the LED I bought. $15.... hrm.
