The rims look awesome, but the red pin stripe, grill, and headlight rings are just downright hilarious. So is that muffler.

when my old exaust rused off, i just pulled it out and welded on a tip. and made a bracket. It was crome. but over the winter it rusted so i painted it.
I plan on new exaust system. new header all the way back.
And about the red. I saw it on an old s4 rallye car. and I though it was the coolest, so I tryed it one my car. Im not sure if I like it. I do but I dont. But i think im gunna keep it for a while.
For you guys who are redoing the rims. all i got to say is, if your gunna do it right. its gunna take forever..

The wheels look well painted. However after mounted and you drive down the street you will hit pebbles and rocks and immediately notice chips and little chunks missing from the paint. Thats why powder coating cant be beat.
It is a much much much better bond that standard liquid coatings.
Electrostaticly charged particles of colored powder acutally bond to the item that is charged with the opposite polarity. Then the powder is baked and it changes from a solid to a liquid and then back to a solid during the baking and curing process.
Dont waste the $ on traditional rattle cans. Not if you really care about the coating.
