The VIN and full Chassis are an "is." The tach is from a super ETA so its only 1K off. Thats where the worry was, why that tach if it was an "i" engine. After he posted shots of the engine and intake, it was clear that he had an m20b25 or "i" engine. Just the wrong Tach. If you read from the beginning, the mystery is solved.

So you just got a tach from a super eta eh? And super ETAs had small and large taillights. 88 Saw the large ones like on my car. 87s the smaller.

You are wrong. The Super Eta was only made in 1988.

When they replaced the tach did they replace the whole cluster or just the tach? if so that could be a high milage car. maybe with a rebuild engine. but doubt it, its very clean car.

wtf is people's problem with my car? yea its in rough condition, but sitting in a room with 1 girl who drives a Chevy Monte Carlo (the newer ones), a guy with a Ford Explorer and they are both sitting there saying they are amazed my car made it to Morongo Casino and back (like 130 miles round trip) and that i bought the car (for $1800) for the name...

seirously.. its irritating me, some ppl ARE douchebags.

they are like "welll, i guess we'll see next school year, if ur car makes it that long"

my friend has an i and has been reeming on it for like 2 years straight and she still purs, and has 250000 on it.
Id like to see that hapen with a Chevy Monte Carlo.;-)
