Great work on the car! Makes me want to fix the quirks with mine (just small things... needs a new left rear wheel bearing at the moment).Comment

Well things might be taking an interesting turn. I messaged them asking is they made heads for 1997 m3 in the US market. This was the response I got this morning "unfortunately we do not produce this reference.
Please, do not hesitate in contact us in a future if anything else is required.
We are at your disposal. "
So I broadened my question, waiting for a response.
Here's the block and the engine did have the s52 mani and aluminum oil housing.

Figured it was about time to post some pics of bae.
1989 325i coupe
207k on da clock
Beat ass silver
5 speed swap
Bought the car around September of 2014 after about a year of searching.....didn't have to go far and drove it home about a hour later.
More pics on insta @martino_motosport
How she sat. Photo was taken by PO ⬇️
Car had minimal rust and from my understanding was from one of the Carolinas. Needed some minor tweaks here and there but seemed to be a great car. Started making a parts list and my money started to fly away.
Starting from the front:
Yellow fogs
HIDs all around
New roundels
Renown wheel
BFI knob
Lots of radio and dash work
Motorsport carpets
Euro trim
IS lip and skirts
Keyless
And tons of small OEM stuff
Yada yada yada....
Radio was lots of fun, gotta love a good hack job! Big shoutout to member: Zinoberrot and his thread on the RMT.
Suspensions was next with some coils and a front end refresh. Obviously had to get rid of the style 5's...shittzz played out. Paint was next decided to lay it and not spray it. Was hoping for something close to calypso but it turned out to be a little lighter...oh well.
This is where I'm at now.
Big things to come...
