Glad to see the time and effort you're putting into all the systems in your car. I felt the same way about my vert. Since it had AC, I wanted it to work. I researched all the parts for a conversion and then found out my '93 vert came with the 134a system. Keep up the good work.

The AC worked until about 2 weeks ago when the clutch froze, it has an aftermarket compressor and dryer so I'm not sure whats in there so figured best to act as if it's R12.

                        Thanks

You can't assume that. Does it have adaptors on the schraders ?

It has the adaptor on the low side. I am assuming it is not converted and prepared to convert it.

In preperation for the retrofit, I took apart everything I can without evacuating the R12.

Is the carpet faded or dirty outside under the center console?

Also, I cleaned up the sub amp install running the wires under the carpet & behind the dash.
