Got this package from Adam Jones on facebook!, great guy!

    The package contained Shakra heckblende

    Love it!!!

    Shakra heckblende installed

i saw that item in ETK and knew that my car did not have it so i ordered that

Also bought that toolkit cloth from eBay, its a replica but still cool to have it

    Took out the carpet

    I cleaned it very well

Time to paint / dye it black

    half job completed

    so much better!

    Finished!

Bought dashcam system for front and rear and installed it, it will also record when the car sits if it senses any movement.

rear shelf installed with the curtain :D ,, the rear camera can be seen a little bit there

Everything pulled apart. because i took out the carpet and installed the camera system

Heckblende looks good. Great work on the interior dye! So much easier than trying to find 30+ year old carpet.

Bought 51472223984 E30 M3 Evolution dead pedal from Adam Jones $$$$$$$$

This is very rare stuff and costs an awful lot for what it is,
it only came in M3 Evo and M3 Cecotto, it was possible to buy it as an accessory from BMW at the time, but this has long been an discontinued item.

to put this in the car this small bracket 6131370734 has to be under the speaker compartment

there are original instructions from BMW how to install this pedal in and according to them you have to "trim" the speaker cover
but it's not that complicated because they have this line on the back of the cover that shows exactly where you trim the cover,, I used a belt sander to sand it to the line

          Now installed! :)

Both cost and cutting the kick panel eliminated this for me. In the age of home 3d printers, why is there no other option for those us tired of stomping dirt into our carpets?

for my part, I didn't care if I had to cut the speaker cover to fit it, since it's easy to cut because the line comes at the back of all such covers to cut it, and that's how it came originally from BMW in the M3 Evo and Cecotto
and I'm certainly not going to take this out of the car again unless it's completely damaged from an accident or something.

there is a cheaper option from Garagistic, they make a replica of the Original dead pedal and it costs only 200$ (you have to cut the speaker cover there too.)

I had thought of buying a replica like this from Garagistic, but it's a bit more cool to have this original, I think.

                    Time for a little update

the battery was dead after the winter storage, so I swapped in the largest battery that fits the e30 (100ah Varta)

then got this nice handbrake handle from Poland,, leather with ///M stitching in the same style of the steering wheel

fits well with the steering wheel 8)

                    Old junk going out

                    new in

then I bought a M3 Evo Red belts used on eBay for a lot of money,,, but what...... after looking at them carefully I'm a little afraid that I was taken a little unlubricated..
I think that these are normal e30 belts that have been modified with, but I don't know :bawl: they still look good,,, started by cleaning them and then spraying them with silicone spray

freaking cool belt though, next step is just to buy the M3 Evo front seats and rear bench one day

then an annoying thing came up, the car started eating brake fluid yet there was no leak visible anywhere.. after a little research on the car it turned out that the e32 750 master cylinder
was starting to leak through and the brake fluid that had disappeared was found inside the brake booster :argh: it would probably be best to replace the booster after this brake fluid bathed inside..
but i decided to suck it from inside the booster and pump brake cleaner into it and suck more to clean it inside,, hopefully it will be ok after this... but i bought a new ATE mastercyl..

old vs new.. kinda funny that this master is "Ended" by BMW but is produced by ATE for BMW, it was possible to order it from ATE
but then the BMW logo has been milled off LOL

All put togeather and my wife helped me bleeding the brakes :D

As it stands now it's just ready for the summer, going to take it in for a inspection soon it should roll through no problem

                      Time for an update!

took the car to inspection and it got sticker until 2026,, then i took it for 1000km trip to CarDays in iceland at Akureyri and the car was at carshow

The car performed very well at Car Days, drove 1000km without any problems.
bought a new cover for the fuse box because the plastic clip broke

then I bought an e30 m3 188mm limited slip diff 3.25 ratio which is quite full heavy for for n/a m50,, I had the same diff in my e30 m3 at the time with m50 turbo which was perfect with g260..
I still decided to try just throw it in the car and I have to say it's just really nice!!

Changed the diff cover cause i had poly urithane on the old diff

                          time for a little update

have been buying some nice things, like this US S50 valve cover that fits directly on the M50

                          Engine room "before"

Engine room "after" with this cover (just need to buy the plugs/caps for it)

So I got rid of this Hartge replica strut brace and bought Racing Dynamics front and rear strut brace along with RD oil cap 8)

Then I bought a used Racing Dynamics petal set that cost an outrageous amount,,
this has long been discontinued, bought this from a man who bought this new from RD around 2003 - 2004,, he sent me this all the way from Indonesia

Decided to take the RD oil cap and sand it down and polish it

This is the result in the engine room

The brace installed in the rear

Bought new knobs and frames for the Recaro seats,, they were missing

                          Racing Dynamics petals installed

Ordered this cool umbrella with the Strutbraces to keep in the trunk

Looking forward to next summer, the car will also be quite "different" in appearance then.. more on that later :)

Those RD pedals are pretty sweet, rest of the RD pieces accent it nicely. Are you going for an RD body kit?

                              Time for an update

I imported a full Mtech 2 kit, had it painted and installed it on the car,
this is a very big change in appearance,, I'm just pretty happy with it...

I got my boys with me on the drive to take pictures of the car

Will use it some now for the next few weeks before winter hits,
the plans for this winter are not big but there will be some things as always.

The Alpine radio in my car started acting strangely so I decided to get a new radio,
this time I decided to try something other than Alpine and bought a Pioneer radio.
this is a very cool radio from Pioneer, (3x rca outputs, RGB screen, cool app support etc.)

Then this package came from Bavarian Steering Wheels

Racing Dynamics 122 10 88 002 Steering wheel in really good condition

The RD emblem is pretty bad

I sent an inquiry to Racing Dynamics regarding the badge,
unbelievable but they had badges in stock for this steering wheel even though the steering wheels themselves have long been discontinued

                                A little difference

I got a brochure about the e46 from them, nice to have!

The new emblem has been installed

I'm pretty happy with the result, it matches the RD petals in the car well

Also, this new Pioneer device is really cool!

I'm a big fan of Racing Dynamics, I really want to get the whole body kit on the e30 from them but I can't find it anywhere.

I have a few other things coming up this winter, the car is going to have the windshield replaced at BMW dealership in October, because I got a stone in the window
of course it will have an original BMW windshield and the new one will be tinted from above.
