Even if you did strap a baby seat in there, that car is still a tin can with wheels lol. Driving that car on the road made me VERY aware of how small and fragile both me and the car are, compared to others on the road. But I loved it anyway.Leave a comment:

Yea, the fact that I could take the 996 to the track and also put a baby seat in the back and take the kiddo to C&C events gave it a HUGE leg up on the Alfa. I saw a few shoulder belt conversions for the rear seats and I didnt really feel comfortable with that holding my child down
Might be a few trips up North before Thanksgiving but not sure I will have anything ready to install. Goal is to give myself a roller by Christmas. Would be nice to have real progress on the engine build between now and then also.Leave a comment:

I'm sad but I saw this coming once the Poorshe rolled in.
Guess you'll never find the secret surprise I left
Soo... you'll work on it next Thanksgiving?Leave a comment:

Cant get anything past you LOL
"the Twin Spark Motor is with me and should start to see some more progress in addition to the 996 ... and this other thing Im playing with..."
The thing with this other thing is that its not much of a thing yet... its currently some new bits and bobs. Basically tired of starting with shitboxes and rusty heaps... so Im building from the ground up. Its not much yet.
I guess its time to start another thread isnt it?

I love the Carabinieri theme. I can imagine time back to 70's and coastal road of Lago di Como.Leave a comment:

Special Police. Yes
Sadly, that other thing that came up was an offer... that I accepted.

This closes the chapter of THIS Alfa with me... but the Twin Spark Motor is with me and should start to see some more progress in addition to the 996 ... and this other thing Im playing with...

Next stop is Portland where the new owner is excited to polish up the paint and deal with the endless mini projects that this car has and needs.

Had a fairly productive week leading up to departure for the Historics, I put over 100 miles on the Nuova in one day just to make sure she would be up for the challenge ahead of her and she did great.

However, something else came up and I ended up leaving her home. Sadly, I wasn’t able to make the grand reveal out there like Id planned so you guys here get to see it.

I have white vinyl for the roof and the blue light, but those will have to wait
