So today I got in my smileys and euro grills, as well as my momo steering hub.
Gonna cut down the hub since I'm using a QR.
More later.
Also, I made exhaust hangers last night. They're almost done...Comment

So I tried putting on my momo hub, then quickrelease, then sparco wheel.
It just was too long, so........
This is what the momo hub looked like before:
That raised part is for crash protection so your chest doesn't get pierced by the steering shaft. In a caged, harnessed car, this is less of a big deal. So...
Cut of the tabs with an angle grinder and thew it in the mill:
A shot of the completed facing:
Then I drilled and tapped 6 holes and test fit the wheel onto the hub (the bolt pattern of the wheel is the same as the quick release, and it came out perfect)
The wheel is installed on my car right now, but no pics of that...Comment

Great work.
I'd love to have a 3D printer. I got to see one in action one time in high school. Company brought one in to demo as the school was thinking about buying one (that never panned out). I have a multi-colored miniature V6 engine block that was printed on it. Very cool stuff.Comment

Also got the hangers all made for the exhaust and got it installed (i hope) for good.
I also got a TON of this shit in the mail the other day, it's totally awesome...
It was like 70 bucks, but it's totally gonna be worth it...Comment

So I finished my expansion tank and overflow tank. Slight departure from my original plan but I think it came out pretty good for my first thing I ever tried fabricating with TIG.
Then I installed it:

From the setup, I would think:
Top one is the standard collector that is part of the system and recirculates the fluid just like the stock one does.
The lower one is a "puke" tank it collects and overpressure that is released from under the cap. Every so often it has to be emptied.Comment
