Wh33lhop, looking back at one of the many pages I noticed all your service indicator lights were green. Did you do something special? I've been driving my car for 1.5 years and its now saying inspection. Just wondering what you did, thanks

      Nice work

I'm looking into buying an e30 to fix up and found your thread just searching on Google, very cool stuff. Thanks for taking the time for all the pictures. I've been learning just like you said: pick a project and do some research and just make it happen. Glad you've got an awesome ride to show for all your work.

      Lif is too short.

So you want a down to earth show...that's completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots?

I replaced my SI board batteries when I got the car circa '09... I don't pay much attention to the SI lights to be honest.

I really love the way your car looks. Put a rear plate filler on that bitch.

I may do that. Probably the last cosmetic mod to the car I will do before it gets a liiittle quicker. ;)

                  no :)

I don't want to post project details before I have anything to post.

This is usually what my grocery bags look like when I get home from the store. I don't buy many eggs.

Is this true? Does this present any potential issues? Seems odd to me that BMW would put them there if they had no purpose.

They are there to keep heat in the brakes in cold climates since pads do not work very well when they're freezing or below. Additionally they help protect from dust and debris but I've never had a problem.
