Welp time for new tires, here's the old setup
I was NOT kind to these, lol
Anyway this is long overdue... yeah I used the proper tool, I used a heat gun too. Whadda ya gonna do abouddit?
The rears had a bunch of body bonder or whatever stuck inside that made rolling them tough, but the fronts got a nice roll at least
New tires (and by new I mean used R888s)
mmmmmm so much beef
Then I used them some more the next day
Wheeeeeeee30! :)Last edited by Wh33lhop; 05-20-2012, 07:40 PM.paint sucksComment

Yeah I love the tires, but they are not going to last long (race takeoffs that are pretty worn already, had to scrape a bunch of OPR off em before we balanced em)
Here are a few more good shots from someone with a real camera. Bored of autox pics? Suck it, it's my build thread.

Really I think of my car as a tool for laying expensive rubber on the pavement in the least economical way possible.
This last one was at the Oakland Coliseum, held by the SF region SCCA
I don't have any video of my car for this autox but here's the first time I set foot in my friend's 380whp 2900lb 285/30 hoosier-shod Evo
I actually set TTOD with a big AWD powerslide on the second run but I forgot to start the camera :(paint sucksComment
