I'm convinced he's obsessed with Dry Sumps and I may have figured out the reason: He's a virgin and has probably only Dry Humped so therefore the thought of a Dry Sump arouses some sort of weird, freaky sexual memory of his stepmother...

I'm having far too much fun doing this. I'm also an engineer.......aaaaahahahahahaha

^ considering how many Mech E and other Engineers are on this forum, this is amusing. Even the non-engineers on this forum know more than he does.....one doesn't have to be an engineer to tune or mod cars.

and you are a mechanic not an engineer if you were you'd understand things like stress levels and why it's a better idea to have something cast in an inconvenient place with higher fatigue forgiveness as opposed to elsewhere. grow up admit your defeat and log back on in a few days with a new attitude.
^this means nothing, it just sounds like it does.

the s50b32 NA will probably only net you 300 real RWHP if you do everything mentioned above, maybe a little more but again you need to have money and a lot of it. i would look into a turbo'd motor because thats how these in line 6's make massive power.

best of luck to you but i do want to know your budget. if you tell me anything less than say 10,000 there is no way you're going to get it out of a bmw engine NA, now if you tell me i have both engines at my house with wiring and megasquirt ready to go into the car and have 6500 to build them you have a shot but you're going to need money and a lot of it.

Most drinks are better when done correctly. But there are better beers. Far better. No hate just stating.

nobody hates guiness. but nobody cares either. It's not special.. you can get it anywhere. It's like an upscale budwiser or heineken. You're not special for liking it either.

so i called matt and came to realize i didn't recall correctly he mentioned displacement to determine the required fuel nothing more. it was a simple misunderstanding/lack of notetaking that caused my confusion. it happens. in any case, i'd already found that tab and played around with it a bit. it really is amazing to me just how many different parameters that thing computes. i'm glad i went that route.
