As long as it's not a plastic impeller pump!

same color I painted my Strut bar and Valve cover (M20)

I'm even thinking of hitting my wheels with it...the grey I have now is too dark

Project is looking great, Josh! can'[t wait to see more

I'll get pics when it's finished sanding and ready to be painted.

I hate bodywork, I swear I'm never doing my own again. I can do it just fine, I just hate it.

Are you still planning on slotting the firewall and using the stock booster? I was looking at my pedals yesterday and realized that the actual pedal pads are offset to the left of the arm slightly. I'm wondering if the RHD pedals are offset the other way and could be used to make up the difference in spacing.

Since mine are plastic (1990 airbag equipped) I might just trim the original pedals and install some of those fancy quickshifting Fuh Raze pedal pads centered on the arm or even slightly offset to the right to make up for shifting the pedals over.

It just seems like 3/4" would put my clutch pedal on top of my dead pedal.

            those plastic pedals scare me.

not all airbag cars have plastic pedals FYI. my '91 doesn't and neither did the 318is parts car I got my clutch pedal from.

Nope, it's a metal one. That was one thing I was really hoping for when I pulled it!

Pics of the shave progress. Almost done with it, primer is drying and then I'll go over the last of the low spots with another skim of glaze/spot filler, and then hit it with black filler primer before painting.

                  Passenger side:

I do love the primer stage, it makes it look so close to being done...

Yes. Did you seriously not see where I've said like 2-3 times prior that I'm using glaze/spot filler putty to fill the low spots?

Why? This application is exactly what it's for. I used JB weld to seal the welds and all of the little pinholes, then sanded the surface. I'm using the glazing putty to fill and level the low spots, and then it will be primered and painted.

I don't know what it did for you in the past, but I've used it before with nothing but good results. Thanks, tho.

                                LOOKING SICK MAN!...

I didnt use one bit of body filler/jb weld/putty, all metal and just sanded and dollied out the crazy bumps. i even single staged the paint right out of a can. looks sick though!!

my wire tuck its kind of a stage one i would call it. i offer different stages to my customers (i have a shop in Bayshore Longisland NY) but im eventually going to redo the harness and motor with some frankenstein'edge..i kinda known for franken swaps haha. keep up the good work!
