Went to start it tonight. Not getting any spark....swapped cps and cid. Hoping to god its not my megasquirt? Anyone know how to test if my megasquirt is sending spark signal? Gonna swap a different cps in tomorrow, although the one that im using now is the one that was already in the car.

Man nice ride, this is the route I am going as well. Got a 1991 IX 153k on it. Going to do a rebuild and turbo it. Not looking for anything crazy just a faster car. Some people should also respect the Vtec as I own a 88 hatch that has taken down many a 335I's 2300 with me in it. B20Vtec with full interior. Many people talk trash but don't knock it till you try it. Anyways I am on to this project and would ask you guys some questions if you guys don't mind.Last edited by dpgc44; 11-06-2012, 10:23 AM.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

If youre boosting you have a couple different combinations to consider.
A tried and true favorite is a stock gasket crushed onto o-rings using ARP studs. If your block and head are super flat, you shouldnt have an issue with an mls if you use studs. Id throw some spray on it anyways though. On lower boost, a stock gasket w/ no orings with metric blues works okay. I wouldnt take it over 10psi though. Its a good low cost solution. Id put metric blues on any car thats going to be driven hard, not to
Mention theyre way cheaper than stock bolts. But go read up, theres a lot more good info out there and whole threads dedicated to HG combos for different applications
