Altezza is the Toyota the BEAMS 3SGE came from. The car was also sold as a Lexus IS200 but I believe the IS200 got a 2 litre 1GGE 6 cylinder, not the highly strung BEAMS found in the RS200.

That was the Lexus IS300 here. Obviously not the same engine, though.

As mentioned above in Australia Lexus decided that because it was a Lexus and not a Toyota the customers would be after a six cylinder engine rather than a rev happy four for the GXE10 IS200. They later introduced the IS300 (2JZGE) however they also relesed this in auto only as they did not feel Lexus customers would want a manual version.

The 3SGE "BEAMS" engine is from the Japanese SXE10 version of this body style (Toyota in Japan not Lexus) My particular engine is from the RS200 version of this car and being manual has a few extra hp than the automatic version. It is 2L four that makes 210hp and redlines at 7,800 RPM.

The car should look great once dropped (looks awesome when 4 people are sitting in the boot haha) but i will need a camber correction kit stat! so looking at the options atm. I think eccentric bushes do not have the adjustment i will need so will be looking at the weld in kits. Does anyone have a personal choice as to the best kits?

                Finally!

Build quality is good and i am impressed by the weight (i have fitted BC's to other cars before but not E30's)

I have a set of 51mm struts i salvaged from a wreckers a while ago. So will get them stripped and refurbed ready to be welded and onto the car.

Still need to modify the shifter too (looks like it is in 5th when in neutral) and add the BMW top style so i can use a genuine BMW gear knob.

Stripped my spare pair of front struts this morning. The amount of oil inside the shocks must have been zero, as the whole tube was filled with the remnants. Cleaned them all up and dropped them off at my engineer friends shop for welding along with the sleeves of the BC's. Will be getting the struts powder coated afterwards too.

Then when i got home i installed the rears. Started with the rings turned down on the adjusters than just removed the rings altogether. So it is now sitting on spring pads and the adjuster (these are 8kg springs) I do like the adjustable mount of the shock absorber too, nice touch. Just waiting on the fronts to be done to have it done and set once and for all.

Looking at the car now the suspension has settled some more it has dropped more. Happy with the height and the sills are above legla limit.

Dropped the fronts off to be welded along with the sleeves.

Ordered new hubs, cups, nuts etc (really cheap so why not) and will be getting some small gussets welded between the coilover sleeve and spindle for some extra strength.

Once welded, sandblasted and powder coated they will be ready to go :) Hopefully i can get them done before this time next week.
