Every part of your front end is spotless, and I get a little jealous but then I think about how much time you must have into that... Keep it up!

Had some time to start on the vems wiring today.
Wired up the relay sockets and the bulkhead milspec connector.

Got some stuff back form powder coating, still have more things to get coated, wish i had money to buy the parts for the coilovers so i could finish the front struts and have them coated, oh well.
just cleaned the steering rack, subframe got powdercoated along with anything else you see that is satin black.
Also decided on location of fuse box and Vems ecu, both will be easily accessible by opening the glovebox.
Extended the 40 wires off the fuse box this evening, no fun....
Mounted the engine harness bulkhead connector
Ugh pictures look like shit, stupid phone.

Decided on a color scheme, satin black seems to be the ticket.
Block and head are silver
intake, fuel rail, alternator, motor mounts, timing/plug covers, intercooler piping, turbo compressor cover will all be powdercoated satin black.
I think it should look good with the white engine bay and still provide a clean oem"ish" look.
Ripped apart the front suspension tonight and will get it all cleaned up and blasted for powdercoating, along with some of the engine bits.

Hope you dont mind me stealing your method and color choice as it looks amazing. oh, and I almost bought that M50 from Keith, small world.
The aluminum etching products i used are
PPG DX533
PPG DX503
The paint i used is Rustoleum High Heat Silver
I feel like the etch did a great job, had very good coverage and the initial coat of paint felt like it bonded real nice, we'll have to see how it holds up but im pretty confident it will do fine.
