I still havent fixed my car although I have all the parts, i ended up selling my seats away so even if it was fixed I couldnt drive it until i grab some race seats.

Get car ready for bimmerfest, this happens to be the hardest part, L.A traffic was stupid last year and car was getting hot with the M20 turbo sitting in 100degree weather and not moving for 45minutes, My M30 runs 30degrees hotter than the M20 and gets hotter with less effort.
So I need to get HUGE pusher fan, which means I need to redo all of my charge piping as my intercooler is far too thick to fit a decent fan.I'm thinking I need around 2.5" same side intercooler and to possibly lose the Alpina valance so I get get more room and hack up a bit of valance to get more flow. the Alpina has the very small "mouth" so Alpina valance may be for sale soon. I need a car that I can run hard for an hour in Summer heat. My M20 was great for that and the M30 is fine below 90degrees outside air. its just severely lacks airflow at lower speeds. updates later.
E30 will now be designed around the motor and turbo setup as I need efficiency over looks.
Also I'm hunting for an AC schnitzer front spoiler

You should be able to fit a 16" pusher on the front side of the rad and a 10" puller on the back side, on the upper corner near the alternator. Together those should keep you cool :up:
I only have 2.2" space between rad and intercooler so need to move intercooler away and Alpina is too valuable to clearance to fit. I notched the rad support to fit this big of a intercooler
Spal makes a wide variety of slim-profile fans in all different sizes, have a look around their website. They also have great detailed drawings to go with each model, so you'll know exactly how big the fan is and where it will/will not fit before you order it. I used their drawings to make cardboard templates for checking fitment, so that when I ordered a fan I was 100% sure it would fit.
yeah the spal slim fans dont move as much CFM as I'd like, I found a slightly thicker one that does 2500CFM and is 3" so I'll go with that and just move the intercooler.
the spal you linked only moves 1200cfm and is a puller..
with the activities I use the E30 for I need huge cooling capabilites. when I auto-x I go as hard as I can can for a minute and then the car gets shut down for 2-3minutes, during this time the car heats up and you need a huge fan to cool it down before its your turn again.
