    so after 1 day of 11psi I'm noticing that on decel my car pulls left and on accel it pulls right. Its only slight but still noticeable.... did I kill the torsen diff? my suspensions new, my shock mounts are about 1 year old,and my rear wheels bearings have been replaced and my control arms are good.the diff only had 35k when I put it in around 1 year ago and is from the z3.

      swap the diff already!!! you have plans to anyway right?
      It does sound like that might be the case. The only other thing I can think of is that your brakes are seized somewhere adding additional load to one side or the other. swapping the diff will tell for sure ;)

      A numerically lower diff ratio will also be able to withstand higher torque loads.

            This also sounds like a likely culprit. I can't imagine the diff causing the problem without making some sort of audible sound. Have you checked all of the rear-end bushings for failure?

              made a switchable antilag/launch system using timing retard and new fuel map. Works excellent gets 6psi within a second or 2. f\For track use only so I don't blow things up.

                drove the car a bunch, something with the air tonight because I was spooling the turbo much earlier than before and had to make a new fuel map to compensate. Running great at 11psi and breaking loose in third all day:)

                Reason for the new fuel map was because my fuel map has a very progressive fuel curve, I don't just dump in fuel where its not needed like the base map,building boost earlier made it so I had to add more fuel down low and just a bit more up top to keep things smooth.

                  this is where I'm skeptical of Miller's MAF conversion. I don't know if they actually re-wrote the binary/hex code of the Motronic ECU to properly interpret the MAF signal, or if they just mapped the airflow transfer function of the MAFs they provide with their kits and jammed that into the original tables. You see the MAF actually acounts for temperature/altitude changes whereas the AFM still utilizes an IAT sensor (and some motronics even had a simple pressure switch for high or low altitudes). If they only mapped the airflow function then it won't account for temp/altitude changes like it should, and will only be accurate for the temperature/altitude that you originally tuned for. For comparison, the SplitSecond kit I have for my M42 advises ordering a factory BMW IAT sensor and hooking it to the proper pin/wire (Grey/violet on my M42 175 DME). Maybe you should try that?

                  How much cooler was it?

                    Not sure if the MAF played a part in it since the fuel maps also go by RPM to send fuel. If I only have x amount of fuel being sent in by 3k and for some reason my turbo build more boost there than normal it will run lean at that spot.It was very humid and around 50degrees, there was a rain storm rolling in. I was getting full boost by 3k when normally it takes until 3.5k; maybe my turbo "broke in" or something since it was rebuilt when I put the car together and did not spin as easy as It did when it was used.

                      well this stinks, I switched to a gravity drain for the turbo, it is below my oil level on the pan but I have a good 20inches of line between the pan and turbo. By theory this should work just fine, I'm using -10an line. Problem is my -10an goes to a metric 12x1.5 fitting on the pan where the inside diameter is a bit smaller than a 10an line. When idling the car is fine and there is no smoke but as soon as I rev it up I smoke out the exhaust. Gravity drain has always been a successful method sooo....I'm wondering is it just the smaller fitting on my pan causing all the issues?and a video why draining below the oil level should work...

                      I also have an extra -10an to 3/8NPT fitting I may have to tap the pan to.

                            tapped the pan, sealed it up with some steel epoxy, should hold up and never leak. I used -10AN the entire length including the fitting on the pan so hopefully it doesn't have any back up issues, if it does I will try a restricter on my -4an feed line.

                              SO I finished the gravity drain pulled out of the garage and watched my car shoot the fuel line of the fuel filter and make a huge mess, I fixed that with a new hose clamp. The car seems to be good and It did not blow any smoke out while driving but when I got home and popped the hood the turbo was smoking a bit. I'm hoping it was just because of oil left in there from the last gravity drain which did not work. Is it possible for the holset's seals to of died when my gravity drain didn't work? seems unlikely since the holset uses rings to seal the shaft and I only traveled less than a 1/2 mile, but in that half mile it did blow a lot of oil into my exhaust and intake.
